Building PRGRMMD
I'm Caleb Hosmer. I run PRGRMMD. We build AI infrastructure into businesses so they can actually operate differently.
Three years ago, I was stacking pallets in Melbourne. No network, no credentials, no particular reason to bet on me.
But I caught something early. AI was about to fundamentally change how businesses operate. And the people building that future didn't need permission to start.
So I started.
I taught myself how to build with AI. Within a few months, we deployed our first agentic system into a live company. That moment changed everything. I spent the next two years obsessing over the infrastructure underneath businesses.
Most people believe the leverage is in the AI models. It isn't. The models are powerful, affordable, and accessible to every business on earth. They're commoditised. The leverage is in the infrastructure they sit in. The architecture that makes those models actually work for your specific business.
The businesses that get this right aren't always the ones doing the most sophisticated things. They're the ones that know exactly where to start, and have the discipline to build the foundation, really, really, well.
That's what PRGRMMD is built on.
We embed with companies, learn how they actually operate, and build the infrastructure they need to run at a fundamentally different level.
Outside of work, I train six days a week, I'm trying to spend more time at the beach, and I read philosophy that has nothing to do with technology, which I'm fairly sure makes me better at technology. I started this year by moving to Sydney to double down on this.
We're just getting started.
